Unfortunately for many sports that require equipment and water access, talent tends to be more evenly distributed than opportunity. The mission of NTAC is to provide the opportunity to learn and compete in these water sports for ALL athletes in the Tahoe / Reno / Sacramento area, including para-athletes and military.
The North Tahoe Aquatic Center (NTAC) is a California non-profit organization (501(c)3 tax-exempt organization, State ID 6197878, EIN 99-2789446) with the goal of advancing and preserving access to Lake Tahoe for all water sports training, recreational to competitive, youth to masters, for the benefit of the greater Lake Tahoe community.
Our operating model is one organization that houses many clubs, focusing the collective efforts of all water sports to ensure community access. With the support of local businesses, local and state government, USRowing and ILCA Sailing organizations, we have found a permanent home at the Lake Forest boat access, next to the Coast Guard Station in Tahoe City
North Tahoe Aquatic Center / Tahoe Rowing is proud to have support from local, state and even federal agencies as well as local businesses.
